My home page James Williams is an artist who lives and works in Flintshire and Gwynedd. He studied at Flintshire School Of Art and Stafford College Of Art in the late sixties and early seventies, before qualifying as a teacher. He was involved in running Clwyd Theatre workshop for young trainees, teaching theatre crafts. Having taught Art and Design in a number of Clwyd High Schools, James became involved full-time in producing works of art in 2001. His work has been purchased and exhibited in Kenya, California and Spain. Within Wales, his work has been exhibited at the Royal Cambrian Academy, Conwy, Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Wrexham Library Arts Centre, Oriel plas Glyn y Weddw and numerous other Galleries. In the late 1980's, James was commissioned by St Fagans Welsh Folk Museum to produce a touring exhibition of ten large visual interpretations of Welsh Folk legends. An accomplished portrait painter also, his commissions have been numerous and varied, including actors and civic dignitaries.
